dpp real estate is excited to announce Kealy Alkana as a new agent to our Glendora family.

A life-long resident of Glendora, Kealy Alkana was fortunate to grow up in a late-nineteenth century transitional Victorian. Her family’s large home was once the grove house for one of Glendora’s early citrus growers who operated their groves on and around the house until after WWII. Living in a historic property introduced Kealy to the importance of restoring and maintaining historic and architectural houses. She learned that every house has a story and has come to appreciate the relationship of a structure to the environment in which it is located.

As a teenager, Kealy worked alongside her father investing in and renovating homes. These properties ranged from craftsman and bungalow, period revivalist, to traditional and the innocuous ranch houses that define the landscape of much of Southern California. Working on projects with her father, she developed a passion for design, project management, and gained strong business acumen for understanding the intrinsic value of real estate. As such, her decision to become a licensed Realtor was a natural transition.

Along with her husband, newborn son, and large extended family in Glendora (with roots dating back to the early 1900s), she is proud of the community she has lived in for more than two decades. Kealy loves the history of Glendora and the surrounding communities. She recognizes the importance the area has played in her life and brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients and the real estate industry, and understands the impact a neighborhood can have when selling or buying a property. Kealy strives to find not only the right home, but also a community that will connect with her clients and their respective needs. Kealy is a dedicated professional with an easy nature who brings warmth, honesty, and integrity to everything she does.

Kealy’s love of 1950s culture plays prominently in her life. Her love for all things 1950s is her custom designed, award-winning, purple 1951 Hudson Hornet which she restored at the age of 16. Kealy is frequently seen driving her Hudson around the San Gabriel Valley or at auto shows. Kealy is a member of an all-female car club affectionately named the Devil Dames.
